About Simon

Simon loves music – not just to listen to, but to experience. Collecting vinyl, spinning records, and creating his own beats is more than a hobby: it’s his way of feeling the world more deeply. Music has accompanied him since his youth, giving him energy, expression, and shaping many of his life’s moments.

Curious, thoughtful, and open to new paths, Simon asks the questions that go beyond the obvious. Professionally, he has walked through many stations before finding his place – today he works as a train driver, with the same passion and clarity that guide him in life.

His drive to create shows in another heartfelt project: step by step, he is building something of his own in the field of microgreens. Still in its early stages, but already becoming reality, it connects his love of nature with his joy in creating.

About Mariama

Mariama loves books – not just reading them, but as a way of life. Stories mean more than entertainment: they open doors into new worlds where she can lose and find herself at the same time. Fantasy, romance, adventure – all of these have been part of her since childhood. Every bookstore draws her in, and her bookshelf is more than a collection – it is a piece of home.

This passion shapes her personality: creativity, patience, and appreciation are qualities you can feel in her daily life. Friends mean a lot to her, and many of these close bonds grew through her work. As a nurse, she works with both heart and skill – she loves caring for people just as much as she loves medical technology.

Books help her switch off and set boundaries, giving her strength for what matters most: being there for people, sharing real conversations, and filling life with joy, depth, and love.

Our differences complement each other, our common ground carries us. What began as casual chats grew, step by step, into trust. Out of encounters came closeness – with ups and downs, with hope and joy. And at some point, we simply knew: we want to continue this journey together.

Our Engagement

On January 5, 2025, we went to Braunwald – a place that feels untouched by time. The mountains were deeply covered in snow, the air clear and still, as if the world had paused for a moment. In a small chalet, the fire crackled, snowflakes fell quietly outside, and soft music played in the background.

We talked, laughed, and enjoyed the silence – without knowing that this day would change our lives.

Then, in the middle of this winter stillness, Simon went down on one knee. With a racing heart, with courage, and with everything that connects us, he asked the question that will shape our lives forever.

And Mariama said yes.
